SURISHTHA SEHGAL

Surishtha “Sue” Sehgal is a New York Times bestselling author of 12 books & EMMY nominee. 

Her debut book, A Bucket of Blessings, was adapted into a stage production at the Alliance Theatre and became a traveling play.

Her other books include The Wheels on the Tuk Tuk, Festival of Colors, Thread of Love, P Is For Poppadoms, Mother Goose Goes to India, It’s Diwali, Bhangra Baby, Seven Samosas.

The Georgia Center for the Book selected The Wheels on the Tuk Tuk & Festival of Colors as “A Book All Young Georgians Should Read.” Seven Samosas is an Amazon Editor’s Pick.

Sehgal is a recording artist who has released three guided meditation albums: Himalayan Nights, City of Light, Weaver’s Wisdom.

She is a former university professor of psychology and served as a commissioner for the Professional Standard’s Commission.

She’s the founder of a nonprofit that supports children’s education and promotes social responsibility in students. She serves on the boards of two universities, a children’s nonprofit and a national arts center. 

She enjoys reading, swimming, listening to classical music and jazz.
