How to make Mango Lassi

The Recipe

Time to make: 15 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped fresh mangos (or canned mangoes or can of mango pulp)
  • ½ cup fat free milk (or water)
  • 1 ½ cup plain yoghurt
  • ½ Tsp sugar 
  • 5-8 strands of saffron diluted in lukewarm milk (optional)
  • ¼ Tsp cardamom powder (for garnish)
  • 1 Tbs. chopped pistachios (for garnish)

Directions

  • In a blender
  • Add all the ingredients except the ones for garnish and mix until smooth.
  • Chill for 30 minutes, put in glasses and garnish with cardamom and pistachios.

    Note: you may choose to chop two Tbs of fresh or canned mangoes and add to the lassi after its blended, before you garnish.
