MB: Noise was the point πŸ”Š

Read time: 327 words, 1 minute.

The Brooklyn Children’s Museum was the first children’s museum in the world.

It opened in 1899.

At the time, the idea was radical.

A museum designed only for children.

Not quieter.

Not simpler.

Just different.

Adults worried it would feel chaotic.

Founders argued that noise meant thinking.

That assumption shaped every children’s museum that came after.
