To help students in Atlanta receive the excellent education that opens up real opportunity and choice in life.

2. What are you working on now?

Significantly expanding access to Early Childhood Education opportunities for Atlanta’s kids in underserved communities.

3. What were your favorite children’s books to read when you were a child?

The Giving Tree.

4. What contemporary children’s books do you recommend?

5. Why is diverse representation in children’s literature important?

So ALL of our kids can see themselves in books as they grow up and develop views about the world and their place in it.
